Our mission at Key Largo Fitness & Tanning is to help anyone of any level of condition develop into a healthy lifestyle of fitness.

Owners: Melanie and Ron Karrick

The Karricks bought Key Largo Tanning Salon in 2001 and have transformed it from a five-bed tanning salon into a distinctive, full service fitness facility as well, with two locations.  It’s the only business of this type in mid-Missouri, and it was awarded the Columbia Chamber of Commerce Small Business of the Year for 2008.

Facilities

Key Largo Fitness and Tanning offers clean, well-equipped and well-maintained facilities with traditional gym equipment as well as rooms for classes, workshops, locker rooms equipped with individual showers, and even a fun Kids Cabana for the children.

• Two cardio areas equipped with full-sized TV’s, and music throughout the gym – welcoming yet energizing!
• Our aerobics room has a cushioned and comfortable wood floor and equipment to accommodate every class.
• For a solid strength workout, you can try the circuit of BodyMasters machines.

The new Forum facility (1400 Forum Blvd, opening early 2009) will also have basketball courts and a swimming pool.
