Class Descriptions
BODYPUMP: This is the original barbell class that strengthens your entire body. This 60-minute workout challenges all your major muscle groups by using the best weight-room exercises such as squats, presses, lifts and curls. Great music, awesome instructors and your choice of weight inspires you to get the results you came for – FAST! (Available at both locations)
BODYCOMBAT: The empowering cardio workout where you are totally unleashed. This energetic program is inspired by martial arts and draws from a wide array of disciplines such as Karate, boxing, Taekwondo, Tai Chi and Muay Thai. Supported by driving music and awesome instructors, you will strike, punch, kick and kata your way through calories to superior cardio fitness. (West location only.)
BODYSTEP: The energizing step workout that makes you feel liberated and alive. Using a height-adjustable step and simple movements on, over and around the step, you’ll get huge motivation from sing-a-long music and approachable instructors. Cardio tracks push fat burning systems into high gear, then muscle conditioning tracks will shape and tone your body. (West location only.)
BODYVIVE: The low impact group fitness workout that let you choose just how hard you work. Using the Vive balls and tubing you’re talked step-by-step through the entire class all while listening to uplifting and inspiring music. Best of all, you finish feeling thoroughly rejuvenated – and fizzing with energy. (West location only.)
BODYATTACK This is a sports-inspired cardio workout class for building strength and stamina. BodyAttack is a high-energy interval training class that combines athletic aerobic movements with strength and stabilization exercises. Dynamic instructors and powerful music motivate everyone towards their fitness goals.
KICKBOXING: A 45-minutes cardio fitness workout to burn fat, tone arms and legs, and improve balance through certified kickboxing techniques. Modifications are offered for all fitness levels. (East location only.)
ABS & CORE: This 25-minute workout builds strength and stability from the inside out, resulting in a stronger and more defined powerhouse (lower abs, lower back, hips and bottom.) (Both locations.)
STEP N WEIGHTS: Enjoy this 60-minute class that has a variety of strengthening and toning exercises using weights combined with combinations on the step. This class is for all fitness levels. (Both locations.)
SCULPT: A 60-minute class to strengthen and define each muscle group by using dumbbells and bands in a variety of moves to sculpt the body. This class is perfect for every fitness level. (West location only.)
YOGA FLOW: Improve your balance, flexibility and strength as you flow between postures. This 60-minute class is suited for all levels of participants. (West location only.)
POWER YOGA: Using beginner yoga poses to participate in a practice that contains a Vinyasa (flow) sequence as well as isometric pose holding, this class facilitates greater endurance and cardiovascular health as well as balance, strength and flexibility. Using breath and movement, you will tone the core and define the legs and arms.
CORE & STRETCH: This class combines 15-20 minutes of abdomen work with 10 minutes of full body stretches to increase flexibility. (West location only.)
CARDIO CIRCUIT: A 60-minute full body workout using bands, dumbbells and stability balls interspersed with short intervals of caardio throughout the class. A great way to tone and burn fat. (East location only.)
CYCLING: A 45-minute indoor cycling class that utilizes innovative and motivational techniques in a group environment and music that begs your legs to move. All levels are welcome. Sign up at the front desk is available 15 minutes before class. (East location only.)
EXTREME CONDITIONING: A 60-minute extreme strength training class that combines the user of barbells, dumbbells and bands. This class will target all the muscle groups to improve muscle tone and also includes cardio segments for total body conditioning. (West location only.)
ZUMBA: This class fuses hypnotic Latin rhythms and easy-to-follow moves to create a dynamic fitness program that will blow you away! The routines feature interval training sessions where fast and slow rhythms and resistance training are combined to tone and sculpt your body while burning fat. (Both locations.)
